Non NHS Services
There are several some such as signing forms, taxi and HGV medicals, private insurance forms, housing
letter etc which are not covered under the NHS and for which you will be asked to pay the relevant fee.
Please ask the receptionist for the charges for these services.
Zero Tolerance
Our doctors and staff have a right to work in a safe environment and we operate a zero tolerance
policy towards violence and verbal abuse.
Chaperoning
The surgery offers a chaperoning service. Please make your GP, nurse or receptionist aware if you would
like a chaperone present at your consultation.
Emergencies
If you are confronted with a serious medical problem such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding
call an ambulance (telephone 999) before calling the surgery.

The Patient Advisory and Liaison Service (PALS) can be contacted on the Mid Essex PCT telephone number.
This service is intended to help patients who feel that they have a problem with any NHS service. Help and
advice in resolving problems can be given by a PALS advisor.
Freedom Of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication
Scheme is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
